本文所讲的“比较级”，是特指的“比较级”，不是指“原级比较”，也不是“最高级”。
英语比较中，有一些特定的表达方式。本文做一个简单的介绍。
1、the more..., the more 和 more and more
这两个结构相当于中文的“越来……越”。例如：
The harder you work at your study, the better academic records you will have.
你学习越努力，你的成绩就越好。
The harder you work, the greater progress you'll make.
你越是努力工作，你取得的进步就越大。
