A small tornado swept through MooreOklahoma on March 252015.The National Weather Service said a briefweak tornado struck the region. It also reported cars were overturned on Interstate 35a major northsouth Interstate Highway in the central United Statesand now it has already been closed.

On Wednesday nightsurvivors in MooreOklahoma were fearful.Thursdaythese feelings turned to great bravery and the inhabitants of this region worked together to move forward from yet another destructive tornado.

It was an unusual morning for Ashley Steelman and her family. The kid's play room,” she said,“is gone. The home that held 40 years of memories inside now looks like a child's diorama. Now the house without a roofa look inside tells the tornado's damage.Steelman's grandmotherJoetta Strainsurvived the storm by hiding in the closet.“I could feel the suction,”she said.I thought it was going to suck me outbut it didn't.I guess I got more strength than I thought.

Another survivor in MooreBrenda Chavezfound strengthtoo.I lost my memoryhonestly,” she said.I was so nervous and scared. Like her neighborBrenda Chavez survived in a closet too.The morning aftershe was left with nothing. The roof of her home also gave way.We just felt the roaring and it just started dropping water and icethe little ice ballsbut we survived the tornado. she said.

There was no death during the dark night as the tornado tore through Moore.Butin the daylightthe cutting reality was easily seen in the townwhich has already been hit by tornados for several times in recent years.

It's just going in circles in my headjust thanking God I'm here and alive,” Chavez said.About half a dozen homes on Chavez's street had their roofs ripped off.The governor of Oklahoma visited the area Thursday to help make a judgment about the damage.
