Agni
After the sell－out success of their 2016 season, Jala, Apollon Studios returns with Agni—an exhibition with dynamic multilayered(多层次的) performance evenings, including live music. Melbourne art lovers are also invited to experience an exhibition of paintings and drawings by artist, Krystal Brock, and painter, Malcolm Berry. The works celebrate the power of fire in a variety of cultural and emotional contexts and will be open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday (10 a．m.～4 p．m.) until December 17.
Christmas at the Old Treasury
Following a highly successful festive season in 2016, the Old Treasury Building is once again showing home－made decorations of the 1920s! By the 1920s there were quite sophisticated(精致的) Christmas decorations for sale in the shops, but most people could not afford them. These are the kinds of decorations they made instead. Newspapers of the time printed designs and patterns for cheerful decorations which could be made at home using readily available materials.
As a reminder of times past, the Old Treasury Building has used these patterns to recreate a homely Christmas in the caretakers' basement flat.
